Did i screw up ?

Just ordered sandy bridge cpu new mobo and this ram http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MY-297-CS&groupid=701&catid=8&subcat=1392

then realised the sandy bridge doesnt use tripple mem like my i7 does so have i screwed up or using the 3 sticks of ram will it would run as single or they run with two in dual channel and one in single or will i have to just use 2 sticks.

It should work with all 3 but probably run in single channel mode, you could always return the ram under DSR and purchase some dual channel.

If they haven't been dispatched yet, contact the shop to change your order is probably the best way to sort it out.

Ive only just ordered a few hours ago so wont dispatch until monday.

I dont mind spending the extra for the Corsair ram if its better than the geil or is the Geil as good for less money ?

Geil are one of the best for reliability, mine has been abused silly and still doesnt skip a beat
