I managed to apparently place an order at like half 2 yesterday (3080 of course), I got an email from amazon pay, saying we will email again when payment is complete, and then nothing, I've got the order on amazon, but nothing on OCuk, spent 5 hours waiting for them to pick up the phone as I had no idea they weren't picking up the phone today. I just want to know if it went through or not is all :)
 
Well one can hope, I don't mind waiting a couple weeks for one as it seems nothings gonna be in stock for the next decade anyways, i just wanted some kind of confirmation or not, cos if it will be a couple months ill just go for AMD instead
 
I had 5 attempts at ordering fail after I entered my card details, clicked pay and was going through the bank security prompt. Literally failing on the last click. None of those went through. My successful one appeared in my account order page instantly, that was at 2.55pm.

Hmmm well I have no idea then, I guess ill wait a few days or so, if nothing happens just cancel the payment and that's done
 
If you ordered via Amazon Pay make sure you're logging in using the Login with Amazon button rather than with an OCUK account when checking order status. I made the same mistake yesterday.

Nahh no orders on that either, only show on amazon website
 
similar for me, i ordered with paypal. initially the order was in my account with "awaiting payment confirmation" and now it is empty. have OC taken my money and lost my order?
 
I messaged support about this. They said that the AmazonPay will timeout and cancel.

"Hi, this order has been created but no payment has been taken, it will auto time out and cancel, sorry for the inconvenience"

After replying asking for it not to be canceled so I can stay in the pre-order queue I received the following reply

"Hi, this order has been created but no payment has been taken, it will auto time out and cancel, sorry for the inconvenience

You will need to place a fresh order

So no, according to OC support your order is not in place and never was. Very disappointed, will be spending my money elsewhere

Thanks for the update, that makes sense, yeah man abit annoying looks like it'll be a few months yet then before new ones come in if you have to re order
