Had a few games crash lately, didn’t really think much of it until today when I tried to play one and it locked up virtually straight away.

Left the comp on while I went out came home tried to use the comp and the mouse was extremely slow responding checked system temps etc which seemed fine, then checked Leadtek 6800LE temp to find this:

I only just managed to get a screenshot. Is it even possible for the gpu to get that hot? :eek: Or is it faulty monitoring? :D

I cleaned the fan filter which was dusty now temps are back to 53 idle.

lol, er i really have no idea if that is accurate. I'm guessing not, else you should be passing out the marshmallow for us all to toast on your campfire you had going on there! :p

I've seen my 7800 at 110c, which I was highlighed to the fact because I got kicked out of a game as it must have passed 115c.
They are okay with a 12cm fan blowing out over them at 7v though :eek:

But 256c is deffo faulty ;)
