Hi all,
I've just turned on my system and my monitor initially seemed to be working fine, displaying the extended part of my laptop desktop.... then after a few minutes the picture flickered (as if the cable wasn't correctly attached) and then a line of white pixels is shown across the screen (horizontally).
I've tried both VGA and DVI inputs and neither work, however, occasionally my desktop appears to flicker, although isn't correctly aligned and doesn't stay around for more than half a second!
So, my question, does this sound like a dead monitor? I've not experienced a TFT monitor die before so am not sure if they die in a blaze of glory or like the above....
It's a 7 year old HANNS-G 19" widescreen from OCUK many years ago.... so can't say it has done badly....
Any comment would be appreciated..
