I suspect people have been wobbling bits of wood for as long as bits of wobbleable wood have been around to be wobbled.

Also, is it me or is Ross resorting more and more to insults and cheap-shots to get laughs? It seems less about interviewing people than insulting them :/

I don't really object to it, it just seems a bit... crass.

My Dad used to work at the BBC as a Scenery Manager back in the 60's and used to work with Rolf Harris, back then Rolf used to paint the backdrops for shows etc. so that's where he honed his skill of creating large paintings.

Yeh but to be honest, as an artist he's terrible...did anyone see his portrait of the queen? it was shameful!

I think he is pretty good, I personally liked the Queen portrait, it was quite impressionist.

I thought he came across as a nice guy and a bit insane on johnathan ross, but as previous people have said he only popularised the wobble board. One thing I thought was poor was his joke at the end "where are you bleeding from? romford" I blame the internet, because I've read that joke at least 20 times in the past 7 or 8 years.
