So, I was pleasently surprised to discover that the red Leds on my mortar max are actually programable RGB
all I wanted to do was turn them off, and now here I am, with an old version of the Msi mystic lights3 programand a very nice huming green Borg effect bunch of leds inside the case! I say 'old version of mystic lights3 because the new version comes with a bunch of guff that I'm not interested in, so hey, I'll leave it in your hands now, if you search for the old version, I'm sure you will find it too
I hope at least one other person is happy to discover this, I don't remember it being advertised as such, nor mentioned as a selling point

Peace out!

This is really fantastic news. Thank you for sharing, Guybrush.

Mine is behind a blue acrylic panel in a custom case I built and the red LEDs look naff. Wonderful and joyous news indeed.

So - no BIOS settings for this (that you know of) I have to install the mystic lights programme? Can I install it, set the lights, then uninstall?

You're really very welcome Chris, I'm happy to have made someone else happy too
have fun configuring, it's always nice to have something else to toy with
no bios option that I know of, that's what I went looking for at the beginning, which led me down the rabbit hole into discovering this... ;)

definately not debug lights! are *all* your debug lights on, after changing cpu, or just the cpu one?
these are leds that are following the top right hand verticle lip of the side of the motherboard, to the right of the debug leds! if you have them, you would know, I cba to take the side off the case to take a photo better explain though, sorry!

It's just the red CPU debug light on but as I say the CPU works fine so I just ignore it and from what I've seen its the same with a lot of the msi b450 boards.
