Diesel Additive

My E46 M-Sport 320cd has 114k on the clock, just above average for the year.

I find it struggles to start sometimes in the cold, so I thought I'd give an additive a try. I've ordered that RedEx as it's relatively cheap and has had very good reviews.

I suppose if it's cheap enough, it may be worth a punt. I'm no expert on these matters, but a quick Google shows that replacing the fuel pump relay may be the cause of the problem?

I ran a can of BG244K through the civic last year, made a difference to the clatter after I'd been through a couple of tanks of fuel and generally felt a lot smoother than before.

Don't expect ground breaking changes though, it won't do anything quantifiably better but for the £20 or so I felt it was worth it for even the small difference in feel.

Think that's good? Imagine if you'd bought a petrol :D;)
