Hi,
I had an accident at work at the beginning of the year and injured my back, apart from some easy physiotherapy once a week I've not been doing any real exercise since then. To add to that my diet has gone down the pan too so I've piled on some (a lot of) weight over the past 6/7 months that I really want to shift most if not all of it now my back is nearly sorted.
I'm really after sorting my diet out and getting back to the gym asap, most of the weight I've gained is around the waist. I never really had to watch what I ate before as I was always active so my weight was stable, so I don't really know where to start now with regards 'what to' and 'what not to eat' when trying to shed weight. And also with my back not quite 100% yet I don't want to go mad at the gym and set myself back.
I have a private gym 1 minute away from my house so its convenient to get into there, they have quite a good selection of Cardio & weights.
Any help or pointers in the right direction appreciated.
