Since I have a thermaltake core p3 snow case, I wanted to get a white or black/white set of cables, and after seeing how expensive they are I figured that I could just get a white psu which comes with white cables already and the corsair RMX models look the most affordable with a 10 year warranty, but there appears to be 2 variants of the same RMX models and the only difference I can see is an increase in depth of 20MM and a £20 increase in price.

Is it worth going for the larger dimensioned PSU, or is the smaller one a newer model which has been shrunk down. Is there any noticeable difference in operation?

Are there any other white PSU's that I should consider?

If you look on Corsairs website you'll see that their current model only matches one of them. You can check by comparing the SKU or looking or the arrangement of the output sockets.

No idea which version is better or why they changed them.
