Is it worth paying more than sapphire or the club 3d? Are the black editions worth it? They say they come with clocking tool? Do the others not clock are the fans any better?
 
From what I have read the limits the same on all 2GB 5970s. And MSI Afterburner can put you there on all variants of the card. They are all made by Sapphire anyway I believe, just a different sticker on the cooler. The fans are all the same too. I have seen it said that XFX have tweaked the Black Edition of their card, but I doubt it's true. I know they used to tweak their nVidia cards, but I don't know in what capacity, and whether it was anything but a claim. And their tool is apparently 32-bit only from what I've seen.
