difference between 120 and 250gb ps3 slim

any other difference apart from the hdd size ?
I have a 500gb in my old style ps3 I intend to use

i take it the hdd spec is the same in the slim as the original ? 5400rpm notebook size?
it's not some low heat generating hard drive or anything they use now ?

Hard drive is indeed the only difference, yes it still uses a 5400rpm laptop drive.

My feeling would be to wait for August if they release the newer 160 and 320GB PS3s over here, these will more than likely use the 40nM GPu/Cell.

so the 120 and 250gb slims run cooler than the old ones, but the newer ones will be even better ?

I might not be able to wait that long, my ps3 is on its last legs I think!

Don't the ones currently in the shops already have those ? I thought revision 2103a and b were the 40nm RSX chip pretty certain they are just check side of box for the sticker 2103a=120gb 40nm 2103b = 250gb 40nm.
Got mine recently and was 2103a.

If the failure of your old PS3 is an issue i wouldn't wait around for a manufacturing process revision, to the normal end user the difference between the current slim and the 'new' one coming in August would be unnoticeable.
