Difference between 2 or 4 mb on duo

Hi, I am just about to buy my new cpu from Oc and wondered if I bought the E6400 would there be much difference to the E6600 with the 2 extra mb and would I notice it in games and such, or should I just save money and buy the E6300 lol ?....

Staying with the kit in sig just a cpu upgrade tbh, I may try a m/b upgrade in a couple of months but as most of the sig kit is only 2 months old can't justify the cost..

So in all your opinions I need to change my mother board as well as cpu(which I did not want to do)..

the 4mb cache is noticable in av encoding.

I don't do encoding so I may as well go for the E6300 as apposed to the 6400 yes or no ? you tell me as a collective there is nothing this forum does'nt know tbh.. ty..
