As the titles says what are the differences? I recently purchased a Catleap and the screen is mint. So what is the differences between the A+ and A- panels?

No one really knows.

The best guess I've heard so far is that they refer to how close the screens can calibrate to 6500k, which makes sense as to why the big players pay extra for them.

It's easy to think "free from dead pixels/tinting/bleed" and so forth, but we all know that isn't true at all. They're all plagued by those kinds of issues.

I think it is something to do with how your eyes see the colours on the panels as well.
Im sure I have seen that some were, I might be wrong though.

It can relate to a few factors but its pretty much as you might expect from the naming scheme and describes the overall quality of the panel. Lower grade panels may be subject to more inconsistencies including issues with backlight bleed, luminance uniformity, the consistency of the polarisers, and even dead pixels. So a lower grade panel may be subject to more issues than a higher grade panel. Of course it doesn't guarantee it completely, but there's more chance of a better quality screen using an A+ (or A1 as they are sometimes called) panel than an A- or B grade panel.
