Difference between AMD and Intel o/c

ive had my s939 pc for a while now, always overclocked it, but have just got a 6300/ds4/2gb geil ddr2

just wondering are all the basic o/c steps the same, or is there anything i should do extra with the intel?

If anything you do less as you don't have to worry about the HTT<=1000 thing. It's pretty much turn off any unwanted options, set the RAM divider and ramp up the FSB.

Good to see its arrived. i had it happily at 3Ghz 24/7

Your RAM will do 4-4-4-12 @ 900Mhz easily, just remeber to give it 2.1v ( +0-3v ) in the bios.

You need to press CTRL + F1 get at the memory timings
