As title says, what is the difference between core temp and socket temp. And which one should you look out for when monitoring your temperatures? I read that the program core temp isn't the best to use because it only measures core temp, obviously. I also heard that hwmonitor does the socket temp, I have both and when I run them they both show the exact same temps.
I know this is probably a noob question but I'm new to computers and hey....
What are forums for eh? Noob questions lol.
Thanks guys.
