Hi,

So I'm looking into getting a new Corsair AIO cooler however the choice seems overwhelming now compared to back in the day where it was just the H80 and the H100.

What's the difference between the H105, H100i, H110, H100i GTX and H110i GT?

I'm currently running a Corsair Air 540 with an i7 4770k in case that influences the decision at all.

I was going to get an NH-D14 as it's cheaper however it's incompatible with Kingston HyperX Beast ram :(

some are 240mm.. h100, h105, h100i, h100i gtx
some are 280mm.. h110, h110i GT

h100, h100i are 27mm thick
h105 is 38mm thick
h100i GTX is 30mm thick

h110 is 29mm thick
h110i GT is 27mm thick

The "i" model's are the 2nd gen and have different fans and slight changes to the overall package which include corsair link being built in. Im not sure of the changes overall.

Your 540 would take a 280mm in the top and look spanking doing so, which would give better cooling than the 240 counterpart.

this is a h105

Apologies for the late reply!

Thanks so much for that I wasn't sure if it was just size difference or I was missing something obvious that marked them out from each other.

Ended up going for the 110 as I managed to get it cheaper than normal.

Thanks so much for your help.

Just installed it, it fits perfectly thank you very much.

One quick question actually, if I was to replace the rather loud stock fans on the H110, what are the best replacements? I was looking at the NF-A15 however it looks like that wouldn't fit on the H110. What alternatives are there?
