I think G2 is the Leadex and the GS is a Seasonic.

edit: Just checked on the models list on toms and the G2/P2/T2 are super flower and the GS and PS are Seasonic.

Urbanfreestyle, In another thread you said you ordered the NEX650G, in another you said you had the G2 so which do you actually have? The G1 is built by FSP and replaced the old NEX650G. It has quad 20A 12v rails allowing a max of 636w. It is not as good as the Seasonic or Superflower built units.

Let's try to clear up who makes what psu for EVGA starting at the budget ones.

Acbel Polytech builds the truly cheap and nasty looking 400w (2yr warranty).

HEC builds the 430w, 500w, 500B and 600B (all have 3yr warranty).

FSP builds the G1 (10 yr warranty) and B1 (5 yr warranty) series.

Seasonic builds the GS series (5yr warranty) and the 1000w PS (7yr warranty).

Superflower builds the B2 (5yr warranty), P2 (10yr warranty), T2 (10yr warranty) and G2 series which is based on their own Leadex Gold platform but has no tacky led's and come with a whopping 10 year warranty compared to the Superflowers 5 years.

The G2 is the oldest, then came the G1 series which replaced the Nex650G and Nex750G even though they have very similar specs, then the GS which appears to be a new line and not replacing anything.

In order of which is best I would say the Superflower built units are best followed by the Seasonic built units and the FSP built units last.

It's a shame and slightly puzzling that the Seasonic built GS 550 and GS650 only have a 5 year warranty when you are paying a price premium for a Seasonic built unit (especially the GS550 which is only £5 cheaper than the GS650). The GS850 and GS1050 both have a 7yr warranty while longer than the smaller output ones are still 3yrs behind the Superflower and FSP gold rated units.
