Difference between lg um67 and um57 34"

Hey guys have looked around net but cant seem to find any info in difference between lg 34" um57 and um67

Other than the stand being different I cant see what is but a big difference in price any help would be appreciated as I'm after a 21:9 ultra wide monitor for my race simulator rig
 
I would love to know this to. I found a old thread somewhere else where they were saying it was a older model but I am not sure that is the case. In fact if I remember correctly the guy saying it was an old model talked himself out of that by the end of the thread. It might just be looks but would really like to know as it is cheaper more often.

Same size
Same response time
Same aspect ratio

Only difference is design ie stand
And contrast ratio
And price found it for £300 online apposed to £400 for the um67 version

Would love to know if there is more
 
I would say its the same but the brightness is different and there was possibly something else but I cannot remember now but those couple things give me pause.

I do know the 67 will overclock to 75 hz with freesync on and there are questions about if the scaler in the 57 is as good. One reason ill probably go for the 67 is there is a fairly easy driver hack that can let you lower the min freesync range. Its a lottery like overclocking but some have gotten down to the lower 30's. I would honestly be happy with 40.

Sorry, i have been out and about a lot so have not been onto the forum in a while.

34Um67 has more input options
34Um67 is 50cdm2 more on brightness
34Um67 has speakers
34Um67 has nicer stand (in my opinion)

As the um67 is £400 ish I could stretch that far so I got the 34" um57

Have I made a bad choice or is it in ball park for performance of um67 as that has awesome review couldn't find reviews on the um57 much

I only play racing games on it as it will be my main screen for my race simulator
 
Help needed guys so screen came today setup up and picture keeps going black on dirt rally wit her 3 black ops 3 all I have tried and flicking and black screen.

Set resolution to 1920x1080 so black bars down side and works fine

Once I set 2560x1080 screen flashes blank ect

Have r9 390 gpu
8350 cpu

Using displayport

I know some games have freesync issue so tried with it on and off doesn't make any difference
Driver issue with amd as crimson drivers are still buggy or screen??
 
Hi I have just orderd the 29um67 and does it come with a display port cable or do i need to buy one to go with my xfx 290 ? and what one would you recommend ?
 
Hi bells my um57 34" didn't come with display port I just brought a £20 people will say different things but mine works fine so go with whatever your budget can afford


I'm a little disappointed in freesync if I'm honest while the monitor is great and looks awesome the limited freesync range is terrible i think 40 to 75 hz and also the current amd drivers are terrible most games black screen with freesync on so have tov run without most the time
