Difference between these...

Hi All,

Is there a big difference between these Gigabyte mobo's apart from the price

:

For example do the both support sli for 2 cards?

Any help much appreciated.

All X58 chipsets support SLi.

WRONG!!!! they all support crossfire, X58 can support SLI if the board and BIOS have been validated by nvidia and then supported in the drivers. The DS4 does not support SLI.

The Intel X58 board does not support SLI for example.

Ok thanks for the replies guys, so the cheaper 1 doesn't have SLI support.

And no worries, I still haven't purchased anything yet.

DS4 has only 1 LAN instead of 2 in UD5
DS4 does not have any eSATAII, while UD5 has 2 eSATAII
