Hi.
I have a Silvertsone 450w SFX PSU. It has an 8 pin 12v ATX connector split in two. Both are identically wired but one has a slightly different shape in the "foolproof" design.
My motherboard has a single 12v ATX socket and I am trying to isolate a problem with my PSU.
One of the 4 pins matches the socket exactly, the other one doesn't but I can see that it will fit.
My question is, is it safe to test my pc using the other half of the 8 pin ATX 12v socket? Are they exactly the same?
Thanks a lot.
