Difference in Vista products

Hi I am looking at getting vista and am looking at:

Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic 64-Bit Edition DVD - OEM
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium 64-Bit Edition DVD - OEM

Could someone tell; me what the differences are between these two please. Many thanks.

My opinion, DO NOT go for Home Basic, get premium. Home basic is a heavily cut back version of Vista.

Home Premium is what you need.
It generally what most people would need, Ultimate has a few extras that would only really benefit IT Professionals.

1) Drive encryption utility, for encrypting the contents of your hard drive so if your PC is stolen, nobody can read whats on it. Usefull for people with company laptops with sensitive information on it

2) As above, the Ulility encrypts the files using EFS

3) The ability to back up the system as a disk image, and the ability to restore that image to working copy. Think Norton Ghost

4) the utility that does the above
