Considering it's only 720p, low resolution textures, low or no levels of AA and no AF I disagree.Jihad said:Can't really call it equivalent, I doubt a X1800 could run Gears Of War at the same detail the 360 does.
You make it sound far worse than what it actually is, it's easily up there with the top PC games even today. (Excluding ones that aren't out)Ulfhedjinn said:Considering it's only 720p, low resolution textures, low or no levels of AA and no AF I disagree.
Same can be said for the vast majority of Xbox 360 games.
No I don't, I simply explain it as it is. In fact, despite the lack of actual eye candy I think that the current generation of console games really look very nice. It's just that from a technical point of view console games are unimpressive.Jihad said:You make it sound far worse than what it actually is, it's easily up there with the top PC games even today. Can't see that happening, maybe UT3 will be a good way to see how the 360 measures up to the X1800 then.Ulfhedjinn said:Get Gears Of War on the PC, add higher resolutions and higher levels of AA/AF and higher quality textures, then it will stress an X1800 while looking a lot better than its Xbox 360 version. Sorry but it's just facts.
