What are the differences between the 22" Samsung's without the TV tuners?

There seems to be:

226CW - £258
226BW - £223
223BW - £193
2232BW - £223

The 223BW & 226BW look identical to me?

What are the differences and what is better for FPS gaming?

Thank you!

the 226bw is an overdriven more responsive version of the 223bw which will make it better at coping with fast moving games. The 226cw is a rebadged 226bw that costs slightly more :p neither are guarenteed a samsung panel, but its not like its an issue anyway. 2232BW is just identical performance to the 226bw/226cw but with a different exterior appearence.

If your after one, it'd make sense to go for the 226bw or the 2232bw depending on which ones exterior styling you prefered. 226cw is pointlessly marginally more expensive and the 223bw doesn't have the overdrives and only costs slightly less.

they are all quite similar. The SM226BW and SM2232BW are pretty much the same, except the 2232 is in the "pebble" range, so a different design. The SM223BW and SM226CW are the same design as the 226BW, except their specs are slightly different. The 223BW doesnt use overdrive / RTC to boost the response time, so is only a 5ms rated panel, whereas all the others here are 2ms G2G. The 226CW is a 2ms G2G panel, but also has an enhanced colour gamut covering 92% of the NTSC colour space, rather than the normal 72% the other screens offer

sneaky!! you just rephrased everything i said (admittedly a lot better than i said it ! :D) then added the cheeky bit at the end about the wider gamut which i forgot about! :p

Just to add that in my opinion, whether you get a Samsung panel or not does make a difference. I just recieved a C version and the performance in games was terrible. Certainly not worth the risk to me.

WOAH! What do you mean the performance is games is rubbish?

Why is it rubbish, what have I missed here, I thought these screens were ace?

Please help!

Seems to me if you get a good one, it really is a cracking screen. But there's no guarantee you won't get a poorer quality panel. I dismissed the supposed differences as hype and I regret doing so now. I posted in the end of the official 226bw thread detailing my problems. :(

hmm i think some "c panel's" seem to get problems with the overdrives, the colours on them can be calibrated to look v good.

I got the cmo panel which is apparently according to some..the worst..but it was great...
