Hello everyone,
Just curious as to what the advantages are going from an intel q6600 to a Yorkfield q9550 e.g. 2.83. I know less about cpu's and it seems the York has the 45nm manufacturing process and a larger L2 cache. I've read that they clock higher then the q6600. I wonder if they kick out less heat than the 6600 too.
Finally, the Xeon, what's this fella all about then pls? Buisness applications? I'll admit I know diddly squat about these.
(all I can see is that they have the Yorkfield badge once again)
Thanks for all the help so far btw
