Hey guys,

I tried looking in the 5770 thread but it's absolutely massive and I'm a little short of time at the moment.

What are the differences in the models for the 5770? Asus is currently out of stock, and looking at the Asus thread, I ordered that but without knowing when it'll be back in stock is it worth it to cancel and get a different one? The Powercolor one is the same price. Is it really worth waiting longer for the Asus one to come back in stock?

Cheers

The asus card comes with an unlocked bios and voltge tweaking software so you can overclock further without needing to flash the bios and invalidate your waranty. Also the asus has a 3 year waranty the other cards have 2 years. Most new cards come with the revised "egg cooler" only xfx are sticking to the shroud cooler.

only 3 diff in 5770 card

1> The coolers some are egg shape some are the shroud...shroud seem to be noiser but cooling is fine on both.

2>Asus card come with an unlocked bios so you can clock past 960/1300 using ccc. You can flash any card with an asus bios if youe whish or use gputool to get around it.

3>warreny is diff see indivual card?

OK, so right now, the cooling in my system isn't brilliant and I don't really have much intention to overclock the card. At least not that much. I'm not overly fussed about the noise. Shall I just go for the Powercolor one...?
