Different App Store to iCloud Accounts - Can/How To Merge?

I have an iCloud account used for all my devices, works fine, all happy.

However, I have a different account I have used in the App/Media store over the years, it isn't even an account with an email, purely (username).

I now want to use my iCloud account for EVERYTHING.

Can I merge that old christian_surname account in App/Media store with my iCloud account?

I somehow set up a media account without an email address!

I don't know how, but when I log in, which it allows me to do, when it gets in it tells me to enter an email address (before I can do anything) but when I do (Ive tried several both Apple ones and others) I get ERROR and red no description message.
