Hi.

I currently own a pallit gtx260 216 core (eugh)
If i wanted to run this in sli could i use any other (unclocked) gtx260?

would it just slow the faster card down to meet the slower (most likely the palit)

Also, would the 775 striker II be a good board for basic SLI? not wanting 3-way etc.

regards

Just as Monkeynut said it should be fine as long as both cards have the same frequency and amount of memory. But if one of the cards has a higher clock it will be down-clocked to match the other one.And yeah that board is capable of 2-Way SLI as well as 3-Way.2-Way x16-x16 and 3-Way x8-x8-x8.

so, pretty much the same as this gainaward?? http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=GX-104-GW&groupid=701&catid=56&subcat=927

Make sure you clock them to same core and shader frequency tho - in theory SLI should either match them to the slowest card or the card in the primary slot but this doesn't always happen - more than ~20% difference in clocks can make for noticeably jerky gameplay.
