Different kinds of connections VGA/DVI/Etc

Hi guys,

I've got a Dell XPS 1710m laptop that i want to get a 22" LCD for gaming on.

But i read some articles about LCD's and they mentioned that some LCD's dnt work so well with some types of connections. That there is a loss in quality or latency etc.

What should i be looking for here? Is there a good option that will work really well with Dell Laptops?

If you have a DVI/HDMI connection on your laptop then they will be best, but you shouldn't have a problem with VGA unless your monitor is higer res than 1920x1200
