Different Media Center Programs...?

Hiyahh!

Im looking for suggestions for my media center pc!

Its using XP Media Center the now, but what other programs are similar and as good as Media Center?

Only things i do is TV Shows, Films, Music, DVDs!

I dont use the digital recievers!

Basically the main thing i want is to be able to play HD stuff... as i need to exit media center and open VLC to do so

Any idea... thanks!

But your problem with not being able to play HD stuff is to do with codecs I think.

Codecs... any idea what id need to do to get media center to use the HD ones like VLC does?

remove any codec packs you have

install vista codec package -works perfectly in xp
