Did the terminal markings on light switch plates change recently?

Went to replace the upstairs landing light switch for cosmetic reasons only to find the new one has totally different markings on the terminals.

Old: L1, L2, L3

New: Com, Loop, 1 Way, 2 Way.

A quick Google didn't reveal which way to connect up the new switch.

Take a couple of photos, one of existing switch and one of new, making sure we can see markings. Will tell you what is what. But it should be L1 = com, L2 = 1way, L3 = 2way. Not sure what loop is about on new switch.

The loop is just linked to the COM/L1 (Constant Live) so that you can take a constant live from the switch without doubling up in the COM/L1 terminal. (This is not common practice as most feeds to other light fittings are taken from the 3-plate ceiling rose, however in certain rare situations looping from the switch might be preferable)
