Different timings on same mobo?

Hi all.

im looking at adding some more RAM to my systme

At the moment i have 2GB Crucial ballistix 1066 which is 5-5-5-15.

would it matter if the RAM i added was at 5-6-6-18 or should i add more 5-5-5-15

Hi viper, if you can get the faster speed RAm at the same price do it.
If you cant all the RAM will drop down to the lower speed, (not that you would notice LOL)

yeah try to match the ram as best as possible. If you get lower rated speed it still might be able to run slightly faster than advertised and you could memtest at the tighter timings.

However, its also a well known fact that more modules = looser timings. Whatever you get, make sure you stability test after install.
