Hello all, again.
I am looking at upgrading my RAM (from 2x2gb to 4x2gb). Currently I have 2x ddr2 Kingston 2gb pc2-6400 (800MHz) sticks with 5-5-5-18 at 400 Mhz and I would like to double it to 8gb in total, but it seems that all ddr2 2gb ram sticks are with 5-5-5-15 at 400MHz only, would it work together (2 sticks with 5-5-5-18 and 2 sticks with 5-5-5-15)?
Is 5-5-5-15 will be downgrated to 5-5-5-18?
Or should I get new 4 pc2-8500 sticks all with 5-5-5-15? And how much that will make of a difference (considering its twice the price of buying 2 sticks)?
Thank you.
