Has anyone ever used something like this before ?

Changed living room up and TV isn't wall mounted anymore and on a unit. Currently due to the Sonos arc have had to raise TV on some raiser, but was thinking if used something like the below wouldn't need the raiser and would be more flush to the wall again.

Just wondered if anyone has and can recommend which one if so.

Might give this one a go actually:

I use one of AVF Affinity these but bar material and shelving options they all do the same job.

The Bontec one you linked too looks solid enough and decent value. I have had a very similar one to this before and it was fine for a big tv. If it doesn't have adjustable height feet they can angle back very slightly on carpet due to weight but you can just put shim under.

Cheers, I've gone for the Bontec one. As Amazon can always return it. I know the height clearance will be fine, but was more just to be safe with the sturdiness as cats like to jump on the new unit :D but have accidental damage anyway so not too much an issue worse case scenario.

Realise you've already chose one but thought I'd throw my 2p in.

I have one similar to the top one (albeit from eBay) and whilst it does the job, it doesn't feel massively safe. Since it's not linked in the middle the TV sways from side to side if you knock it. This is also with only a 39" TV on it.

Ignore the dust and holes, living room about to be completely painted and made more wife friendly. Only way I was allowed to add the Sonos sub, if we could make it feel more homely hence the tv unit, then corner units bla bla bla, damn wife! Although to be fair, it's not much further out than when it was on the wall, so not too much of an issue. Gives me an excuse to buy a PS5 when stock comes back in, now that it can go in the unit ;)

It's in front of it, but could sit on it if limited depth wise. Would still clear the TV or you could just go up a notch on the stand. Deffo check which ever you buy has cable management on the stand as some don't come with it.

I was looking at that one (and the Flexson Sonos Beam model), I'm a bit weird when it comes to things lining up and the Sanus is just ever so slightly wider than the soundbase, looks very nice though. How far does the base stick out from the front of the TV? Any pics?

I could get all three from RS, (TV, Soundbase and stand), I'm sure there's a deal to be had there.

It's been up 2 weeks now, no issues at all and super happy with the outcome after moving away from it being wall mounted. The wall has been painted and looks much better. Just need to get the skirting and doors done then happy wife happy life. :D
