My wife and son want to have a wooden Christmas tree, which I think looks a bit odd, but hey I'll go with it I guess. Anybody else think they might go for something like this too?

It's expensive, ugly and impractical and it doesn't even have cultural tradition to offset those things. So no, I won't. I'd rather use a mop and some wire coat hangers - that would also be ugly, impractical and untraditional, but at least it would be cheap. If you're going to substitute a bad stand-in for any traditional symbol of anything, it's just daft to spend much money on it.

I prefer that to some of the other 'alternative Christmas trees' I've seen over the years - this, albeit starkly different, is interesting, a talking point and quite unique.

I don't think I'd like one as I tend to go for a more traditional tree & decs, but I'd rather the 'jenga tree' than a black tree, or one of those fibre optic colour trees that I deem very tacky.

We "upgraded" to a lovely white LED one a few years ago from JL. Looked absolutely beautiful and did away with the pesky needles.

****ing dog got into the shed yesterday and bit it to pieces. Could have taken a spade to the ****.
