Differing panel gaps bad?

I get the impression that his Dad really wanted him to have it, given his love for the 300ZX, but the fact he cannot drive yet etc has stopped him enjoying it - but, in time, he will one day be able to drive it, and is thus keeping it until then for personal reasons :)
Which could be years away?

Just been out there with measuring stuff - each wheel sits exactly in the same spot in the arch as its opposite number (both horizontally and vertically).

plus the wheels are also aligned from front to rear (I parked on the line of a parking space)

all good
Well, if its only the bonnet with uneven gaps between it and the front wings, it could be bent bonnet hinges. Tbh, if its only 2mm its nothing to be concerned about.

Also, if some oil monkey has ever done any big engine job on it, the bonnet may well have been removed at some point, and not been aligned correctly, when re-fitted.
