differnce with 4870 vs 4870 x2

Anyone have any articles on this?

using 22" monitor wont to look at what diffence will be, have googles but all i can find is 4870 crossfire vd 4870 x2.

any help guys?

There are lots of articles comparing the two.

Have a look at this one:

Whilst the X2 gives some benefit over a single 4870, personally I wouldn't bother unless you're using a full HD screen.
