My motherboard was recently damaged transit and I am in need of an upgrade or replacement. The gpu slot is bent and my pcs+ r9 290 4gb doesnt get read, I am unsure if I can use the other slot on the board because I was told it uses less energy and my card is quite big and takes up 2 slots?
Here is my current motherboard : ASUS® P8Z68-V PRO: USB 3.0, SATA 6GB/s, NVIDIA®SLI™, ATI®CrossFireX™
I have a i5 2500k 3.3ghz 6mb cache which has a 1155 slot (I think) and I cant really find any good suitable motherboards, my budget is probably under £100.
I also need a new CPU cooler as it broke too. TITAN FENRIR EVO EXTREME HEATPIPE CPU COOLER is what I had, I suppose I would want something similar.
any help is greatly appreciated.
