Basically I placed the cpu on socket (fitting the grooves of the cpu to the notches of the cpu socket) It's when i try to push the pin and cover back down..well it seems way to tough and i'm hearing grinding noises..should there be this much pressure from the pin?
Granted i've never actually handled one of these new sockets until now so im not sure if this is natural or not but i wanted to be sure what to do before i attempt to use excessive force... my q6600 on my previous mobo, the push n pin was no where as near as forceful
any advice would be appreciated, ty.
