Having decided to take the plunge and clean the sensor on my 60D for the first time, i'm trying to decide between digipads and sensor swabs.

I'd welcome your thoughts

Also if someone could confirm sizes.
I think type 2 for the sensor swabs and type 5 for the digipads.

I don't really think there is a lot in it to be honest. I use sensor swabs which just have a pec-pad over the end. I used the originals ages ago and now just cut a new pec-pad and fit. I think digipads are pretty much the same?

I've had my SLR 4 or 5 years now and have never felt the need for a wet clean, I find a quick blast with a rocket blower and a couple of minutes with my Lenspen Sensor Klear has more than done the job, sure I can see dust bunnies at f22 in a test photo but in real worl use they don't show.

I have to clean mine once a month. When shooting wide open it's never an issue, but when I'm shooting airshows or motorsports they become a real problem.

I use the dust aid sensor cleaning kit for wet cleans. Took me a few goes the first time to get the right technique but each clean costs pence now.
