Hi my daughter (8) is mad on art, I would like to build her a computer as a digital art workstation.

What do I need, try to keep the costs down as her sister will probably want one too. :)

Put one of them up for adoption?

Or - what's your budget - and do you need everything and is size of the tower an issue (Mini ITX needed?)?

Oddly enough my daughter will need something similar too soon.

Size not really important, but must be quiet. budget up to £450. I have screens ,keyboards etc, already.

I've done a Ryzen build as you could upgrade in the future - also chose a micro build but you could easily change this to a standard ATX format at no extra cost.

You could opt for an INTEL build and would probably come in a bit cheaper using the IGPU - but would reduce your upgrade path - but if this was not an issue something to consider:

My basket at Overclockers UK:
Total: £470.55 (includes shipping: £11.70)

Would you want a Wacom pad? My son uses one for his pixel art/programming - brilliant bit of kit.

what about the graphics tablet, any suggestions?
My son uses the Wacom Intuous (small) - really impressed with it for the money ~£70. He's customised it to his needs and it took him while to get used to it but now he would never go back.

They've come on a long way since i first used one years ago - going to get one for Photoshop and add the wireless adaptor.
