Digital camera for around £50/£60

My mum is after a digi cam and would like to spend around £50/£60. What would be the best option? It doesn't have to be new and it will be purchased from ebay. I'm thinking I should be able to pick up a decent old canon?

Yes, probably any of the older powershot series. They are very durable cameras and not bad picture quality too, loaded with features including auto + manual modes.
