Hi All

I buy and sell plant for a living and have always pretty much used my iphone XS MAX for photos, the problem is on overcast days it really white washes and doesnt really look great. Which given most of the time the photos are what sells the machine isnt ideal. I do have a D600 DSLR but its overkill for what i want. However i know if i used it the pictures would be perfect. Its just to big and cluncky

So a few years ago i bought a £100 point and shoot digital camera. I found it was pretty standard and actually the iphone took better photos.

Now i need to sort out the ongoing problem as we are finding we cant take photos in certain weathers etc. So I am thinking of a decent digital point and shoot camera? or maybe somthing that has lenses that can be changed.

This is a typical photo

and on a bright overcast day we get this

If i was spending £300-£400 what would you guys recomend. Ideally i would just plug it in and we get auto download of pictures etc.
Also
Would a camera of that price range be better than my old D600?

Is it not just a case of changing settings like HDR on the iPhone to stop it over processing?

Other than that, if I was to head out and get a point and shoot I'd head straight to buying a Sony Rx100 MK4 at that budget. Has wide aperture for lower light, built in nd filters for brighter conditions. But I just prefer the sony cameras for point and shoots.

Realistically though the other makes at that price range will be just as good.
