I have about 150 pounds to spend on a digital camera excluding memory cards. what is the most pixels slimest and biggest screen cameras for that money?
Can somebody list me a few models?

have a look at the pentax optio s6. 6MP, very small, 2.5" screen. My mate just got one and it looks like a nice camera.
 
Keep any eye out for sales.

I got my Fujifilm E510 for £89.99 from Argos. 3 days later after purchase, I suspect somebody fixed their typo back to £179.99. :eek::cool: :D
 
I like the look of the Casio Exilim EX-Z60 or Casio Exilim EX-S600, I cant see much difference in the two. are these good cameras? Is a 3x optical zoom enough?
apparently there is a lot of shutter lag on the pentax optio s6

dude, forget pixels. it's not important. my 4mp s5500 would show them cameras a clean pair of heals. concerntrate on the optics. take a look at steves-digicams.com for review and similar sites.
 
The casio exilims look pretty good for the money. I bought my GF a EX-Z10 for her birthday and TBH it's pretty good. Nowhere near my 10D obviously but if I was in the market for a P&S I'd buy it (again lol).
 
Have you looked on Steve's Digi Cams as advised? It's the best place to figure out which camera you'd like. I also advise going and looking at cameras in a shop. You can't possibly know which ones feel nice to hold etc. without trying them out.
 
yeh ok thanks, i'll go have a go of some see which ones I like then come home and get it cheaper on the net. it seems cruel to indepentant shop owners.
 
On Steve's Digi Cams I cant fnd where abouts it helps me to chose which camera I would need/like. can somebody please gove me a direct link?
