Digital coax from pc to amp.

I have a coax cable connected from my audigy se's digital out using a 3.5mm to phono adaptor to my Denon 1507 av reciever. The reciever is set to the correct input (coax one) and auto mode, but it isn't picking up any audio no matter whether I set ffdshow to 16-bit stero, AC3 or LPCM output, upmixed to 5 channels or dts or whatever. I've had it working before but I can't get anything now.

Make sure Digital I/O is enabled either in the Audigy panel or the 'Advanced' part of Windows Volume Control/Mixer. It's a tick box in the advanced settings under the main volume iirc.

All there is in the advanced section is bass and treble.

There should be a check-box that says 'digital output only' if not, or it is greyed out, try re-installing drivers.

I've tried checking that but I still don't get any sound.
