whilst in this case the ads where pulled, it goes to show you that the game you pay for can change for the worse.

Imagine this -

game is releashed with no ads but sells poorly so publisher/developer adds ads to the game and spoils the game for you which you paid for.

If you read the description of the video, Sony pulled the adds from the game.

What's that got to do with digital content? They could patch a physical release with that couldn't they?

I was going to say "so what, advertising, wah wah" or something to that effect. But that loading time difference is shocking :/

I don't mind adverts on billboards in games etc, but this is crap... Glad they removed it.

Well yes I hadn't thought title through properly. Take TF2 for example the game was great before all the game play tweaks, some people most probably prefer it but I liked it how it was.
