For a variety of reasons I can hardly bear to go into I am selling my 32” Sony Bravia LCD TV and buying another CRT.

My question is around the whole digital/analogue CRT TV thing, I have sky+ and a dvd recorder with freeview built in so I have no requirement for any more freeview. Is that the difference with a digital CRT over an analogue?

Or are there SIGNIFICANT picture differences?

Cheers in advance!

No such thing as a "digital CRT" from a technical standpoint really. It's all marketing to represent certain features of the TV, e.g. Freeview, 100Hz and various preprocessing that the chips do to the video and audio signals beforehand.

Great.. so the £200 analogue 50hz 28" is going to perform pretty much the same as the digital one?

All the rest of the spec looks the same to me..
