Digital Dials Memory?

Made a bit of a boo boo on my brothers car the other day...

The dials in my car were playing up so I decided to try his on my car, worked great, put my dials back in and we were away... but after putting his dials back into his dash both the handbrake light and the ABS lights were showing, despite his car not having ABS...

Obviously it had taken lights or "beliefs" from my car and transferred them to his... I have tried letting the dials sit for hours without power but the lights come back...

Feel quite guilty now

you might want to check the millage on the ODO as well. i know that if you swap dash clusters for test perposes that the lower milage dash will show the higher milles when put back in to the original car

I havent checked it but it has been a while and he hasn't said anything other than the lights are different....

as far as im aware it will be a trip to a dealer to get the lights put out
