Hey guys, I currently have Sky HD+ but I'm finding that I'm not really watching allot of movies and perhaps I might benefit from HD Freeview. I have heard allot of mixed responses on this technology, particularly around the fact that because you don't have a dedicated satellite meaning that the 'HD' that is received is really poor. Any comments / experiences would be most welcome. Also, if any one could suggest a reasonably priced Freeview HD box that would be great :)

Do you have a rootop aerial that is in good condition? Because if not, you might have to spend £100+ for someone to install a new one.... or spend that money on a HUMAX FOXSAT HD Freesat box and hook it up to your dish.... or just use your sky HD box to receive free to air channels.

You don't need to do anything to get freesat tv. Just cancel your sky and they will say you can still use your HD box but only receive the free channels with it.

Sorry I forgot to mention that I am moving flat, and I don’t think the flat has a satellite installed.
