I am sharing an office with another company and have a seperate phone line to them.
I have connected a cordless phone and broadband to "my" mastersocket with a filter. The phone gets terrible interference and crackling whenever the other company's phones are going or they are speaking on the phone. The rest of the time it is perfectly clear.
The problem goes if I use a corded phone (but means I can't go walkabout). The problem is the same if I am sat at my desk or standing 10 metres away.
The base station is on a desk next to a computer and a laser printer/scanner but I don't think this is the problem as most of the time calls are fine.
Is there any reason their phones cause the interference and anything I can do about it, other than putting the corded phone back in?
edit - cordless....not hands free
