Hi all, I was hoping someone might be able to shed some light on digital media receivers. I have been trying to find info about them but im a little confused about exactly what they can do and whats available so anyone with knowledge or that may be using them would be excellent!
Basically i want to be able to stream home video's and DVD's to my TV downstairs. Simple as that, wired or wireless and compatable with as many file formats as possible. I have been looking at the D-link models and the Kiss dp600 and Kiss dp1100/1500 but most either dont seem to support certain file streaming or come with things like a built in DVD player which i dont really need as i already have one with my TV :S and i only really wanna spend abour £120-160 and i think the kiss dp600 is about £240
So can anyone point me in the right direction? wireless with a wired connection is prefered but i really dont get all the different streamers available details on them seem to be sketchy
